Contraception refers to the methods that are used to prevent pregnancy.

If you’ve had unprotected sex you may be able to prevent pregnancy by using emergency contraception within the first five days. There are two types of emergency contraception: the emergency contraceptive pill (the morning after pill) and the intrauterine device (IUD). Both are available from Brook Blackburn.
